An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager (property) to join a Client organisation in the private Education sector to deliver multiple new sites to support their expansion plans
The company has recently been shortlisted for a National award in their industry and secured multi-million-pound investment from a high-profile investor to power their expansion.
They are aiming to be the market leader in London in the next 5 years and they are looking for an exceptional multi-site rollout Property Project Manager to oversee the construction of our new sites.
About the role
You’ll be reporting directly to the CEO and have overall responsibility for delivering their pipeline of new sites. You will be working closely with the operations and Education teams to deliver and develop the right fit out for each new site. They are looking to roll out 4 to 6 new sites across the city per year & are looking for a brilliant project manager to lead this.
” Accountable for delivering the refurbishment programme on every building they acquire (typical site is 5,000 sq ft, in London’s zone 1 – 3, and requires full refurbishment often with extensive structural, M&E & fit-out works)
” Appointment and management of all external consultants & contractors through the RIBA 7 stages
” Overall control of the tendering process and cost control (£1m CapEx budget per site)
” Ongoing maintenance programme of their existing portfolio
” Responsible for delivering on-time, on budget and the reporting of project status at board level
” Responsible for ensuring that design and implementation meet operational and safeguarding requirements.
” Min of 5 years of commercial fit-out or commercial development management experience
” Strong track record of delivering projects on time; on budget
” Strong understanding of development throughout the RIBA stages
” In-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles
” High energy brought to every task you take on, and solution driven approach to problems
” You must have the ability to make things happen at speed!
” Degree educated with a relevant degree and chartership (MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM, RIBA) would be a bonus but not mandatory
