As they continue to expand our operations, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join the team.
Position Overview
As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of electrical projects from inception to completion. Your expertise in electrical engineering, project management, and leadership skills will be vital in ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, clients, and stakeholders, to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
” Plan, coordinate, and manage electrical projects throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget.
” Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
” Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
” Coordinate and lead project meetings, providing clear direction and guidance to the project team.
” Manage and negotiate contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring the procurement of necessary equipment and materials.
” Monitor project financials, including budget allocation, cost tracking, and forecasting.
” Ensure effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any issues or concerns.
” Identify and mitigate potential risks and obstacles that may impact project timelines and deliverables.
” Foster a culture of safety, quality, and innovation within the project team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and skills
” At least 5 years in the M&E Industry and minimum 2 years as an Electrical Project Manager
” Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams to achieve project goals.
” Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
” Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
” Problem-solving mindset and the ability to make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.
