The vacancy of assistant quantity surveyor is due to continued success within the North West region and is to support the completion of multiple prestigious sites. This is an opportunity to join a leading brand and work within an established commercial division. As a result, it is important that the successful candidate has confidence in their own ability and is pro-active in their approach.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a proactive assistant Quantity Surveyor who is eager to take on responsibility and provide a high level of customer service. You will have experience working for a housebuilder and a desire to learn on the job.

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
” Assist the establishment of site requirements.
” Assist in the preparation of budgets, cost plans, tenders and contract documents.
” Assist in risk and value management and understand cost control.
” Allocate work to subcontractors and negotiate budgets.
” Develop documentation.
” Produce progress reports.
” Valuing completed work and arranging payments.
” Assist in the production of risk assessments and be commercially aware.
” Attend meetings and develop good working relationships.
