Currently they have an excellent opportunity for a Design Manager to be based from their head office in central Liverpool. There is an established team of engineers and technicians who collaborate with in-house teams to develop design for many of the company’s significant schemes.
The Design Manager is an experienced team leader focusing on the HR needs, development, talent management and coaching of all design staff towards a common collaborative outcome whilst managing the operational requirements of the department.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in the delivery of building services solutions. Excellent communication skills with a proven track record in managing and mentoring a design team. Posses the commercial acumen to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Internal communication is key, the individual will interact many areas of the business, the ability to build relationships and strive toward a common goal is fundamental to success.
