We are working with one of the UK’s leading construction and development companies with nationwide developments in the search for a Development Manager to be based in their North West office.
We are looking for a Development Manager to join their Investment Team who can take responsibility for the progress and procurement of potential new developments through the technical, legal, planning and financial stages to starting on site, whilst assisting with development of technical specifications and detailing.
You will work in close partnership with Development Directors, the wider Investment team and delivery functions to develop proposals for the procurement of land and to ensure viable proposals meet market demands, from initial design to checking all technical reports required for planning submissions and development due-diligence.
Assisting with the development of technical specifications, for their Build to Rent (BTR), Co-Living and Student Accommodation projects, you will develop and facilitate layout design, assist with the appointment of consultants for the new schemes, whilst providing technical information and drawings for legal documentation.
Educated to Degree, HND or equivalent and will have excellent construction experience and a sound understanding of development process. You will need to demonstrate excellent planning abilities and building regulation knowledge. An effective leader, confident in participating in meetings, you will have great communication skills and be competent with Microsoft Office Packages.
