Graduate Quantity Surveyor (PQS)
We have an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor (PQS) to work for a highly successful and multi-award-winning Construction Consultancy in Belfast. The role will involve providing cost consultancy services in all major sectors ranging from Grade A City-centre new build offices, leisure and hotel refurbishments, grade 2 listen Local Authority building repairs, University campus projects and a range of NHS facilities to £100m mix use schemes.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for a proactive a Graduate Surveyor to add support and who can work on a large project, acting as a contact with the client. Our client has a very strong order book and due to recent company growth has multiple vacancies.
The Graduate Quantity Surveyor Role:
” Assisting with estimating and cost planning
” Procurement advice,
” Tender document preparation and reporting
” Contract administrator and cost control
” Interim valuations
” Cost reporting
” Assisting with Contract advice
” Final account preparation
The Graduate Quantity Surveyor:
” Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a similar technical discipline
” A minimum of 1- 2 years + post Graduate experience
” Feasibility and cost planning, procurement advice, tender documentation and post contract services
” Previously employed by a consultancy or end user client
” Stakeholder management with a clear focus on developing client accounts and forging new business relationships
” A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines
” A team player, outgoing, flexible, enthusiastic and ambitious
