M&E CAD Technician

Vertical Recruitment is working alongside an industry leading independent Building Services Consulting Engineer based in central Manchester. Following several successful major projects acquisitions the business continues to expand and is now looking to appoint an experienced Building Services Technician.

The Client:

Established in 2004 the practice provides a personal approach compounded by technical expertise, offering high quality consultancy and design services to a wide range of sectors throughout the UK.
Continued growth and success has seen expansion reach 48 personnel across the UK.
The business offer a wide range of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Building services engineering capabilities, operating in a wide range of sectors as follows; commercial offices, residential, retail, hotels & leisure, heritage, education, student accommodation, mixed use, data centres, infrastructure planning.
Recent projects include; Green quarter Manchester and Circle Square and St Johns Quarter totalling several 100M in project value.

Skills and Experience:

Extensive Working knowledge of AutoCAD used to produce detailed drawings within the building services sector, preferably with 3+ years’ experience.
Good working knowledge of Revit MEP.
Understanding of coordination and the sequencing of services
Ability to document design/coordination issues and recommend alternative solutions
A minimum of HNC / HND in a relevant discipline.
Strong communication skills, able to work efficiently with engineers and the CAD/Revit team.
