Project Manager – Construction Consultancy – Manchester – Education
We are looking for an intermediate level Project Manager for a leading global Construction Consultancy to be seconded to their client who are a leading University in the North West on a full-time basis.
The Project Manager will be based within their M&E infrastructure department, managing a range of projects including Fuel Cell, Renewal works, maintenance and upgrading systems. The client has lots of repeat business with the University and are one of their biggest clients. Because of this, the scope for future progression in the role is very good, and there is the future opportunity to grow a team.
The Project Manager Role:
o Undertake day to day delivery of projects
o Manage design teams
o Undertake contract administration
o Development of project documentation, programmes, master budget etc
o Maintain a robust document management system
o Produce of reports to suit relevant stages of the projects
o Compliance with set governance
o Assist with delivering projects with the framework of risk, sustainability and environmental considerations agreed at the business case/client brief stage, while maintaining focus on time, cost and quality.
o Assist in the management of consultant teams to ensure that the built product is compliant with the contract
The Project Manager:
” 3-4 Years’ experience Consultancy or Client side
” Experience of M&E would be an advantage
