A vacancy has arisen for an intermediate level Project Manager to join a highly successful, independent Construction Consultancy in Manchester. The business has recently secured several high-profile instructions in the North West, including:

” New build Luxury homes in Cheshire
With the support of a Senior Project Manager / Associate Director and the track record of their existing Project Management team, you will support on larger projects and directly manage small-medium sized schemes delivering them efficiently and on time. The key responsibilities will include:
” To act as the focal point for the development of Project Management services.
” To be commercially aware.
” To be conversant in property/construction legal matters, contracts, warranties, appointments.
” To be able to communicate effectively with the whole project team; including clients, funders etc.
” To assist in the appointment and co-ordination of project teams
” Control of quality, cost and programme
” To effectively manage change in accommodation needs
” To effectively manage the process of design and build on a project basis
The successful candidate must be well organised, with good interpersonal skills, plus an ability to work independently and pro-actively in an ever-changing environment.
Essential Personal Requirement’s
” Degree educated in Project Management or relevant discipline.
” Consultancy/ Client-side experience
” Minimum two years’ experience of delivering projects ideally in either the private or public-sector building industry
” Ideally working towards professional qualification MAPM/MRICS/MCIOB
