Vertical Recruitment are working closely with an independent, award-winning consultancy that can offer the opportunity to work on a wide range of significant projects in and around Manchester?

Our client has an excellent track record of delivering successful projects for their clients. Due to an increased demand in their services, we are currently looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team in Manchester, Based in a Converted Victorian warehouse. You will be in an open plan space with large windows overlooking the canal and have great public transport links and bike storage with showers and changing facilities onsite.

What you’ll be doing

  • Finding design solutions that breathe new life and value into communities.
  • You will play a key part in changing the shape of Manchester’s infrastructure from major developments and masterplans to stadiums and public spaces.
  • Creating safe and sustainable built environment solutions for projects ranging from small residential schemes to major redevelopment of town and city centres.

What we need from you

  • Be proactive and seek opportunities to mentor and support the team
  • Appropriately qualified and significantly experienced in the field of Civil Engineering
  • Experienced using Civils 3D and undertaking drainage and SuDS designs using Causeway Flow (or equivalent)
  • Able to produce Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy reports for planning
