A well-established and award-winning Cost & Project Management Consultancy are seeking a Senior Project Manager NEC3 to join their Infrastructure team. They provide professional construction consultancy services to a wide range of blue-chip clients across the UK.

The immediate requirement is to work on a ground-breaking project which will harness the electricity created from non-recyclable waste to power a new £65 million plastic recycling plant in Bristol.

Both the Consultancy and end-Client are fully operational supporting homeworking, you will therefore initially work from home however when restrictions are lifted you will be required to travel to Bristol 2-4 times per month.

To be considered for this position you must have the following experience:
” At least 10 years Project Management experience within the power and process sectors
” Proven track record of delivering technically complex construction projects from inception to completion in a regulated environment.
” Knowledge and experience of Client PM governance processes and procedures
” Both pre and post contract duties
” Extensive experience of the NEC3 form of contract
” Ideally experience of the IChemE contract
” Ideally have NEC3 Project Management accreditations

Role & Responsibilities:
” Taking a lead on the control of the management of multiple contracts NEC3 & IChemE
” Issuing compensation events and early warnings
” Planning the logistical delivery of plant & machinery
” Managing the installation and testing of the plant & machinery
” Management of consultant teams to ensure that the contractor’s design is done in compliance with the contract
” Management of consultant teams to ensure that the built product is compliant with the contract.

This role is open to both Freelance and permanent staff individuals, however the ideal scenario would be a temp to perm arrangement

Rate is £350 – £380 p/d & salary is negotiable depending on experience
