Job Description

Vertical Recruitment are working with an award winning, independent consultancy working within the built environment. They have 14 offices across the UK and Ireland and are an employee-owned trust. They are renowned for their expertise in civil and structural engineering, transport planning, geo-environmental and geo-technical engineering, infrastructure, and as principal designers.

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Revit technician to work on some large building projects in Manchester. The position is within a large structures team based in the city centre and will work alongside other experienced technicians to deliver models and drawings.

Over the last 60 years, they have re-shaped and improved the skyline of towns and cities across the whole of the UK and Ireland. These projects are mainly based in the Manchester region and are across all sectors, ranging in size and complexity to include commercial, residential, high rise, healthcare, hotels, education and more. We are looking for someone who has experience within these sectors and delivering similar projects.

  • The ideal candidate will be able to work to demanding deadlines
  • Be a strong team player and good communicator.
  • Sound technical knowledge of building structures, to undertake surveys, measurement and be fully conversant with Auto cad and Revit is essential.
  • Drawing production from Engineers sketches and from scratch.
  • Responsible for ensuring delivery of drawing work to agreed project programs, whilst meeting commercial targets.
  • To develop concept ideas into drawing details.
  • Ensuring that drawing production follows company standards.

What we need from you

  • Experience using Revit to create models of building structures
  • An enthusiastic team player who can collaborate with engineers & technicians to create the best solutions
  • It would be advantageous if you have experience in a Consultancy background and following BIM protocols.
