As we’ve settled into the rhythm of 2025, Q2 has been a great mix of hard work, new faces, and a few fun moments along the way. The team has been buzzing with energy, and it’s been fantastic to see everyone working on fresh projects, connecting with clients, or supporting each other.
This quarter, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming Freya and Alina to the team – our new recruits. We’ve also taken some time to socialise outside of work, with a relaxed breakfast and a memorable night out in Manchester.

End of Quarter Celebrations
We wrapped up Q2 with a proper team night out in Manchester. After our quarterly meeting, we headed over to Society for some brilliant food, followed by The Charlatans live at Castlefield Bowl.
It was such a fun evening and a great way to bring everyone together outside the office. A well-earned thank you to the team for all the hard work and effort over the past few months – we couldn’t have ended the quarter on a better note.
Consultant of the Quarter
The end of the quarter is always a great time to reflect on our achievements and celebrate the individuals who’ve gone the extra mile. Each quarter, we set targets for our consultants, recognising those who go above and beyond.
A huge congratulations to our Senior Recruitment Consultant, Alex McCall, for being named Consultant of the Quarter for Q2!
Alex has really stood out over the past few months – showing incredible drive, consistency and commitment. It’s been brilliant to see your hard work paying off and making such a positive impact across the team.

Pay Day Breakfasts
Our end-of-month breakfasts have become a bit of a tradition, and they’re always something to look forward to. This time, we headed to The Koffee Pot in Manchester for a relaxed morning of good food and great company.
It’s a small way to take a breather and catch up before heading into the final stretch of the month – and, as always, it didn’t disappoint.

New Starters
We’re excited to share that our team is growing! This quarter, we’ve welcomed a new starter to Vertical Recruitment. Freya has joined our Project Management and Quantity Surveying desk, working closely with our Director, James Adamson, to support the construction sector across the Northwest.
Freya comes from a sales background and is brand new to recruitment, so we’re looking forward to supporting her as she gets stuck in and develop her careers with us. Welcome to the team!
