Job Title: HVAC Engineer

Salary: Up to £55k plus vehicle

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across commercial sites for a local authority.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including heating, cooling, and ventilation units
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs in a timely manner
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and technical support
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with other engineers and site teams as required
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer or similar role
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in HVAC, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and components
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Full UK driving licence (if field-based role)
