Key Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor on this flagship programme, you will:

  • Manage full cost planning, estimation and budget setting across multiple building packages
  • Prepare tender documentation, manage procurement and analyse contractor bids
  • Administer NEC3/4 contracts including early warnings, compensation events and change control
  • Produce valuations, interim payments, cost reports and final accounts
  • Undertake risk management, forecasting and value engineering
  • Provide commercial advice and support to the wider project and client teams
  • Monitor contractor performance, variations and financial progress
  • Work collaboratively with Project Managers, design teams, and public sector stakeholders

Ideal Candidate Profile

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

  • 5+ years’ post-grad Quantity Surveying experience within construction or infrastructure
  • Strong NEC3/4 contract experience (essential)
  • Experience working on multi-building, complex or public sector projects
  • Confident, client-facing communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams
  • Professional qualification or progression toward MRICS, MCIOB or equivalent
