Vertical Recruitment are working with a leading real estate consultancy with an established regional presence, who are looking to add a Graduate Building Surveyor to their growing Building Surveying team in Leeds.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate currently working towards APC, or looking to begin their chartership journey, to join a business offering structured mentoring, strong project exposure and a clear pathway to MRICS.
About the Company
Our client is a well-established real estate consultancy delivering building consultancy and project-led services across the commercial office sector. Their Leeds team works closely with landlords, occupiers and investors on refurbishment, redevelopment and fit-out projects, providing excellent hands-on project experience alongside long-term career development.
The Role
This position is predominantly project-focused, supporting the delivery of commercial office refurbishment and redevelopment schemes. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with project management duties, preparing specifications and scopes of work, attending site inspections and progress meetings, and contributing to technical reporting and client communication.
There is also some exposure to wider professional services, providing a well-rounded graduate experience.
What They Are Looking For
• A Building Surveying graduate with circa 1–3 years’ industry experience
• Currently working towards APC or keen to start the chartership pathway
• An interest in project delivery and site-based work
• Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset
• Ambition to progress within a supportive consultancy environment
