We’re working with an ambitious, regeneration-focused Construction Consultancy in Manchester that’s growing fast. They’re on the lookout for a Senior Associate Project Manager to lead high-value, complex projects and help shape the future of their expanding team.

This isn’t your typical consultancy role - it’s a chance to join a forward-thinking business at an early stage, make a real impact on transformative regeneration projects, and enjoy flexible working arrangements in a supportive, collaborative environment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading the delivery of multiple large-scale projects across RIBA Stages 1–6, from inception to completion
  • Defining project strategies, goals, deliverables, and success criteria that align with client objectives
  • Providing commercial leadership – budgets, forecasting, risk management, and contract oversight
  • Making sure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships as the primary senior point of contact
  • Coordinating and guiding multidisciplinary teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders
  • Mentoring Project Managers and senior staff to create high-performing, collaborative teams
  • Implementing and optimising project management systems, processes, and governance frameworks (NEC, JCT)
  • Monitoring project KPIs and applying lessons learned across current and future programmes
  • Supporting business development, including proposals, client engagement, and strategy
  • Promoting Health & Safety excellence, ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 and best practice

About you

  • Experienced in senior project delivery roles within consultancy, ideally across regeneration, mixed-use, or public sector programmes
  • Track record managing multiple high-value projects across the full project lifecycle (RIBA Stages 1–6)
  • Strong commercial skills, including budgets, forecasting, and contract management
  • Exceptional client and stakeholder management skills
  • Skilled at leading and developing teams, fostering collaboration, and delivering results
  • Professional accreditation desirable (MRICS, MAPM, CIOB, or equivalent)
  • Excellent communicator, negotiator, and problem solver
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, solutions-driven approach

What’s in it for you

  • Competitive salary with annual review
  • Pension scheme
  • Private health insurance
  • Annual bonus opportunity
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Wellbeing initiatives and team activities
  • Clear career progression and leadership development opportunities
