Vertical Recruitment are working with a multidisciplinary architectural and building consultancy in Manchester who are looking to appoint a Senior / Associate level Building Surveyor.
This is a project-led role within a design-focused environment, offering the opportunity to manage education clients across the North West while delivering larger and more complex refurbishment schemes.
About the Company
Our client is a well-established architectural and building consultancy practice with a strong regional presence. The Manchester office is particularly active across education frameworks, delivering refurbishment and capital works programmes for schools and academy trusts.
Unlike traditional surveying practices, their work involves very little pure professional services. Building Surveyors are integrated into design teams, working alongside architects across the RIBA stages, from feasibility through to delivery.
This position will involve:
• Managing a portfolio of education clients
• Leading refurbishment and compliance-led projects
• Full contract administration responsibilities
• Chairing client and contractor meetings
• Overseeing multiple live schemes
• Mentoring and supporting junior surveyors
The role would suit a project-focused Building Surveyor who enjoys client interaction, leading schemes, and working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
