The Role
We are currently looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join a well-established M&E contractor on an immediate basis, delivering commercial projects in and around Soho. Half a million pound package on an office fit out.
This is a contract position paying £400–£450 per day, depending on experience. The contractor will discuss the project specifics and scope in more detail at interview, but the work is expected to be primarily commercial in nature.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical packages from pre-construction through to handover
- Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to programme
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal project teams
- Manage RAMS, H&S compliance, and quality control
- Attend site and client meetings, reporting on progress and risks
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and final handover documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager on commercial projects
- Background working for an M&E contractor
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services
- SMSTS (or equivalent) preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to start immediately or at short notice
