Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Senior / Cost Manager to support the delivery of complex data center construction projects. This is an opportunity to join an established team working across mission-critical developments, including new build facilities, expansions, and infrastructure upgrades.
The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the commercial and contractual performance of large-scale data center projects, ensuring value for money, strong cost control, and effective stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Act as an integral member of the commercial team accountable for project cost and contractual performance
Support the delivery of value for money across all stages of the project lifecycle
Undertake post-contract duties in line with established commercial and procurement strategies
Lead cost planning, estimating, procurement, and change management processes
Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting
Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security, and Quality standards
Manage and administer construction contracts
Support stakeholder engagement and client account development
Prioritise workloads effectively to meet project deadlines
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery processes
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
Experience
Demonstrable CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) cost management experience
Experience delivering data center or other mission-critical construction projects
Proven technical and project delivery experience
Background within consultancy, contractor, developer, or client-side organisations
Strong stakeholder management experience
Experience managing multiple workstreams and meeting tight deadlines
