Manchester | Design-Led Consultancy | £30 - 40k depending on experience and APC progress.
Vertical Recruitment are working with a multidisciplinary architectural and building consultancy in Manchester who are looking to appoint a Building Surveyor at Graduate / APC level.
This is a project-led opportunity within a design-focused environment, offering exposure to refurbishment and compliance-led schemes across education, public sector and commercial sectors.
About the Company
Our client is a well-established architectural and building consultancy practice with a strong presence in the North West. The Manchester office is particularly active across education frameworks, delivering refurbishment and capital works projects for schools and academy trusts.

• Preparing specifications and tender documentation
• Undertaking condition surveys and defect analysis
• Assisting with statutory submissions
• Attending site meetings and client meetings
• Working closely with architects on refurbishment schemes
This role would suit a Building Surveyor with circa 1–3 years’ experience who is looking to develop within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment while progressing toward chartership.
What They Are Looking For
• A Building Surveying degree
• 1-3 years’ UK-based experience
• Interest in project-led work and design coordination
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
• Desire to progress through APC
If you are looking for a role that offers broad project exposure within a design-integrated consultancy setting, feel free to reach out for further detail.
