Mechanical Site Manager – School Project (New Build / Light Refurb)

Location: Billingham / Durham

Start Date: 18 May (or earlier if available)

Contract Length: Approx. 22 weeks

Rate: Daily rate (negotiable)

We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to oversee a school project comprising a new build with a small element of refurbishment.

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day management of mechanical works on site
• Coordination of subcontractors and labour
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to spec
• Attending site meetings and liaising with the main contractor
• Managing RAMS, quality checks, and handover requirements

Requirements:

• Strong background in mechanical building services
• Previous experience delivering education projects preferred
• SMSTS / SSSTS (SMSTS ideal)
• First Aid & CSCS
• Able to start by mid-May or sooner
