MRICS Building Surveyor – Professional Services Focus
Senior to Associate Level | London | £70,000 – £85,000 + Benefits
An opportunity has arisen for an MRICS Building Surveyor to join a leading independent building consultancy in London, within a highly regarded team known for its strength in professional services and technical delivery.
This position is open to surveyors operating at Senior level through to Associate, and would suit someone who enjoys the technical side of building surveying and is looking to focus on professional instructions, particularly dilapidations.
The team works across a broad range of commercial assets, including offices, industrial and logistics, and mixed-use developments, advising a varied client base of investors, occupiers, and developers. Their work is typically instruction-led, with a strong emphasis on delivering clear, technically robust advice rather than high-volume project work.
The business has built a strong reputation across the market for delivering high-quality advice while maintaining a non-corporate culture that offers greater autonomy and trust to its surveyors.
The role will include:
- Delivering a range of professional services instructions
- A strong focus on dilapidations work
- Technical due diligence, condition surveys, and general professional advice
- Working closely with a well-established and supportive team
Requirements:
- MRICS qualified (essential)
- Strong experience within professional services
- Proven dilapidations experience
- Technically strong and confident in client-facing situations
What’s on offer:
- Salary from £70,000 to £85,000 depending on experience
- Flexible working
- Collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Clear progression route through to Associate level and beyond
If you are an MRICS Building Surveyor looking to move into a role with a genuine professional services focus, please apply or get in touch for a confidential discussion.
