Regional Director – Fire Engineering – London or Manchester
Salary: Up to £130,000 + package
Vertical Recruitment is partnering with a leading global multidisciplinary consultancy to appoint a Regional Director – Fire Engineering to lead and grow their UK fire engineering capability.
This is a senior leadership role suited to an established Principal, Associate Director or Director-level Fire Engineer looking to take ownership of a regional team within a well-established and highly respected consultancy environment.
The Role
- Lead, mentor and grow a team of fire engineers across the region
- Oversee delivery of large and complex fire engineering projects across multiple sectors
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and senior leadership nationally
- Maintain and develop key client relationships while supporting new business growth
- Provide technical leadership and project oversight on major commissions
- Support recruitment, team development and strategic growth of the fire engineering function
Requirements
- Strong background delivering fire engineering projects within the UK
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment
- Excellent knowledge of UK fire standards (ADB, BS9991, BS9999, etc.)
- Experience with modelling tools such as FDS and evacuation modelling software
- Professional membership such as MIFireE / CFPE preferred
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status desirable
