We are supporting a rapidly growing residential developer with an extensive pipeline of high-value projects across the North West and the wider UK. The business has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential developments, supported by ambitious regional expansion plans and a collaborative, supportive delivery team.

As part of this growth, the company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of £20m+ residential projects, offering hands-on experience in developer-side project management. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a relevant degree in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or Construction who is keen to develop their career within a fast-paced, high-profile environment.

The ideal candidate is organised, ambitious, and proactive, comfortable on site, and willing to travel to project locations across the Northwest and wider UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the project management team in the delivery of residential developments from pre- to post-contract.
  • Support site walk rounds, monthly progress meetings, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Help maintain project schedules, cost monitoring and risk management.
  • Ensure projects adhere to quality, safety, and programme standards.
  • Support the team in managing contractors, consultants, and client communications.
  • Assist in resolving on-site issues and implementing project actions.
  • Take increasing responsibility for smaller workstreams and contribute to project delivery.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant degree in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction or similar.
  • Exposure to pre- and post-contract project management.
  • Strong organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have a valid driving UK license and access to a car; happy to travel to project sites across the Northwest and wider UK.
  • Ambitious, proactive, and eager to develop project management skills in a developer-side environment.
