Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join a major £15m+ high-end residential project based in Leeds. This is a permanent position offering long-term stability, competitive salary, and the opportunity to work on a flagship development.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all electrical works on site, ensuring delivery in line with programme and quality standards.
- Manage electricians and subcontractors on a day-to-day basis.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with current regulations and project specifications.
- Work closely with the Project Manager, Main Contractor, and other trades to coordinate activities.
- Oversee first and second fix installations, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Ensure materials, plant, and labour are planned and available to meet programme requirements.
- Monitor workmanship and carry out quality inspections to high-end residential standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to health & safety procedures, RAMS, and site policies.
- Assist with inspections, snagging, and final handover documentation.
- Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and as-built information.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Site Supervisor on residential or high-end residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations and building services.
- Ability to manage site teams and drive productivity.
- Good understanding of health & safety legislation and site compliance.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.
- 2391 / testing qualifications desirable.
