We have a unique opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor/Employers Agent (PQS) to join a top-tier Construction Consultancy with a remarkable track record. You’ll be at the forefront of Residential/Housing Projects in the dynamic Northwest region, where your expertise will be pivotal in providing cost consultancy and acting as the Employer’s Agent.

Their projects range from high-rise city apartments with breathtaking skyline views to cozy family homes nestled within picturesque neighbourhoods. Each project offers its unique set of design, construction, and client engagement challenges, ensuring that your role as a Quantity Surveyor and Employer’s Agent is always exciting and rewarding.

In this role, you’ll take the reins of your own projects, serving as the primary point of contact for our valued clients. You’ll be right in the heart of current procurement trends, and your unique skill set, and experience will be vital as you step into the role of Employer’s Agent.

The Quantity Surveyor role:
” Estimating and cost planning
” Procurement advice,
” Tender document preparation and reporting
” Contract administrator and cost control
” Interim valuations
” Cost reporting
” Contract advice
” Final account preparation

The Quantity Surveyor:
” Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a similar technical discipline
” A minimum of 3 years’ experience
” Have previously undertaken the role of Employers Agent would be advantageous
” Feasibility and cost planning, procurement advice, tender documentation and post contract services
” Previously employed by a consultancy or end user client
” Residential or Housing experience preferred
” Stakeholder management with a clear focus on developing client accounts and forging new business relationships
” A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines
