An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a busy practice that provides quantity surveying and commercial management services on UK wide projects in the engineering and process industries.
They specifically operate within a spectrum that consists of Nuclear, Oil and Gas, Power/Energy, Renewables and Utilities (Gas, Water, Electricity) industries.
Your main focus as a Quantity Surveyor will be to act as a representative on a Clients site based in Cumbria to assist with a Nuclear decommissioning and remediation projects.
This is an immediate requirement to join a fantastic organisation offering you the opportunity to further develop your own personal network.
What you will need:
” Minimum 5 years Quantity Surveying experience.
” Have proven experience within the Nuclear sector.
” Strong understanding of the NEC form of contract.
” Have good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
” Have excellent communication skills and be able to self-manage tasks
” Be a good team player with the ability to build relationships within the team and client environments.
Candidates may be required to travel and stay away from home on occasion (if necessary). Full home-office, laptop, broadband & mobile phone will be provided along with accommodation and subsistence allowance
