A remarkable opportunity has emerged for an accomplished Senior Quantity Surveyor to join one of the leading SME practices in the Northwest region. This esteemed practice specialises in power, utilities, and other process sectors as their primary market segments.
With ambitious growth plans in place, our client seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor who is driven by their career aspirations and envisions themselves progressing to the role of Associate within 18 months, followed by a position as a Board Director within 3-5 years.
Our client takes great pride in fostering a motivated and professional environment, guided by a team of experienced directors who are actively involved in generating revenue. Building upon their success in the Nuclear Sector, they are now seeking a Senior QS to work with their major clients across the Northwest.
What you will do:
” Preparing tender and contract documents
” Undertaking cost analysis
” Establishing client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
” Performing risk, value management and cost control
” Advising on procurement strategy
” Analysing costings of tender returns
” Advice Clients on forms of contract suitable work works tendered
” Providing advice on contractual claims
” Analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports
” Valuing completed work and advising Clients of payments to be made
What you will need:
” Degree qualified Quantity Surveyor with 5 + years’ experience
” Ideally professionally qualified, MRICS or equivalent
” Confident and Client facing individual
” Experience with NEC3/4 contracts
” Ideally security cleared
