Job Description:
They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor with approximately 10 years of experience to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and taking ownership of multiple multi-million-pound remediation projects with minimal oversight. They require someone with prior consultancy experience, particularly in the field of refurbishment projects, and expertise in onsite measures. Proficiency in JCT contracts, including Design & Build, Standard Form, and Intermediate, is essential.
Key Requirements/Responsibilities:
” Minimum 10 years of experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
” RICS membership is welcome but not mandatory.
” Previous consultancy experience is essential.
” Ability to manage and take ownership of multiple multi-million-pound remediation projects independently.
” Familiarity with the insurance sector is a plus but not required.
” Experience in working on refurbishment projects and conducting onsite measures.
” Thorough understanding of JCT contracts, primarily Design & Build, Standard Form, and Intermediate.
” Proficient in traditional QS technical skills including estimation, measuring, tendering, contracts, and post-contracts activities.
” Capable of mentoring junior team members.
