Position Overview:
As a Senior Recruitment Consultant at Vertical Recruitment, you will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with clients and candidates within the technical design, delivery, and cost services sectors of the construction and engineering industries. Your experience and expertise will contribute to the growth and continued success of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Engagement: Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients in the construction and engineering sectors, understanding their staffing needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
2. Candidate Sourcing: Identify and attract top-quality candidates through various channels, including networking, social media, job boards, and referrals.
3. Candidate Screening: Conduct comprehensive interviews and assessments to match candidates with suitable job opportunities, ensuring a strong fit for both clients and candidates.
4. Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments to provide clients with valuable insights and recommendations.
5. Negotiation: Facilitate salary and contract negotiations between clients and candidates, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
6. Business Development: Expand the client base by proactively seeking new business opportunities and maintaining existing client relationships.
7. Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with recruitment best practices and legal regulations, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
8. Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities to the management team.

Qualifications:
” Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Recruitment Consultant within a technical market.
” Strong knowledge of the construction and engineering sectors, particularly in technical design, delivery, and cost services.
” Proven track record of achieving and exceeding recruitment targets and KPIs.
” Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
” Self-motivated and results-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional client and candidate experiences.
” Proficiency in recruitment software and tools.
” Relevant professional qualifications or certifications are a plus.
” Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
