Job Description

Our client is a globally recognised Construction Consultancy firm, renowned for their excellence in the industry. Currently, they are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Senior Project Manager to join their highly successful Project Management team in Manchester. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of project management and program management services across a diverse portfolio of projects within the Education, Healthcare, Government, and Commercial property sectors.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
” Collaborating with Business Unit Directors to achieve business objectives.
” Engaging positively with customers, fostering the development, growth, and maintenance of customer relationships.
” Delivering high-quality services and ensuring that deliverables meet our customers’ requirements. o Managing projects and/or programs, adhering to business procedures and delivering high-quality services and deliverables.
” Administering contracts as a contract administrator, employer’s agent, or project manager.
” Creating and delivering presentations to customers.
” Mentoring and coaching employees to help them realize their full potential.
” Preparing bids for services.
” Managing service delivery for profitability.
” Promptly advising directors of any issues that have arisen or may arise on projects, particularly those that might impact professional indemnity (PI) insurance.

About You: Who we’re looking for:

Experience, Knowledge, and Key Skills
” Extensive project management and/or program management experience post-qualification.
” Solid knowledge and demonstrated experience in project management techniques.
” Ability to administer construction contracts as a Contract Administrator, Employer’s Agent, and/or Project Manager.
” Clear understanding of legislation impacting building contracts.
” Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
” Methodical approach to work with a logical way of thinking.
” Ability to comprehend complex information and quickly assess requirements.
” Excellent problem-solving, negotiating, financial, and numeracy skills.
” Proficient ICT skills, particularly in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
” Strong team player with the ability to manage teams effectively.

Qualifications
” MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or
” MAPM (Member of the Association of Project Managers) or
” MCIOB (Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders)
