We are recruiting for a highly respected Construction Consultancy in the heart of Manchester. They currently have a vacancy for an ambitious Senior/Project Manager to join their experienced project management team in their brand-new office.
If you are a Senior/Project Manager that possess consultancy construction project management experience and are able to lead a series of projects, build and maintain client relationships with limited support, this role will offer the opportunity to utilise your skills and work with a talented, busy team.
You will be working on a variety of projects from student accommodation, high rise resi, higher education & commercial projects ranging from £40m – £500m. Notably, their most recent milestone project is the New Bailey Eden commercial office development, a net-zero carbon achievement!
” Proven Project Management experience ranging across life cycle stages (e.g. RIBA, MSP, APM BoK).
” Relevant experience working within the construction industry in a similar discipline
” Experience in PMO/Project Management/ Contract Administration roles in Real Estate or Property.
” Experience with JCT and NEC forms of contract
” MCIOB or MAPM or MRICS.
” Knowledge of both theoretical and practical application of project management (e.g. APM).
” Demonstrable knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
” Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
” Leads by example, and can influence, lead and motivate others.
” Flexible and adaptable to cope with fast-track projects and changing client requirements.
” Demonstration of good time management, focusing appropriate resources to meet client and project objectives.
” Support in producing the procurement strategy report with client/QS
” Support in tendering and procurement of the projects and the collation of the contract documents
” Manage the handover process and support the client in any moves that form part of the project
