They are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Manchester.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Project Manager you will take on a pivotal role in leading and managing a range of projects across a variety of sectors, including; Student Accommodation, Private Residential PRS, Commercial Office and Sports Facilities. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to further their career in a renowned consultancy firm.
Key Responsibilities:
” Lead and oversee multiple projects, ensuring they are executed effectively, on time, and within budget.
” Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions to meet project objectives.
” Build, mentor, and manage project teams, including consultants and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
” Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost control measures to maximize project profitability.
” Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
” Ensure projects adhere to industry standards and client specifications, maintaining a focus on quality and excellence.
” Prepare regular project reports, status updates, and documentation for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
” Ensure that all projects comply with relevant regulatory requirements, codes, and permits.
” Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovative solutions in project management and cost control.
Qualifications:
” Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
” Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager with a Consultancy or Client-side organisation.
” Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) are highly desirable.
” Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
” Proficiency in project management software and tools.
” Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
” Ability to travel to project sites as required.
