We are thrilled to be working with one of the UK’s leading Cost & Project Management Consultancies to identify a highly talented Senior Project / Programme Manager to deliver a significant programme of work to upgrade an entire region’s overhead electrical transmission lines in Northwest England.
Our Client is recognised as a leading organisation specialising in energy and infrastructure solutions. They are dedicated to providing innovative and sustainable solutions to meet the growing demand for infrastructure.
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Project/Program Manager to lead the comprehensive upgrade of overhead electrical transmission lines in the Northwest of England. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of this critical infrastructure project.
Responsibilities:
” Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
” Oversee the end-to-end execution of the overhead electrical transmission lines upgrade, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
” Utilise expertise in NEC3 or NEC4 contracts to manage contractual aspects of the project effectively.
” Collaborate with legal teams and stakeholders to ensure contract compliance and resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
” Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
” Communicate project progress, risks, and milestones to ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
” Lead a multidisciplinary project team, providing guidance, motivation, and support.
” Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment to promote innovation and problem-solving.
” Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
” Proactively address challenges and obstacles that may arise during the course of the project.
Qualifications:
” Minimum of 10 years of experience within a Consultancy or Client -side environment
” Experience in delivering capital projects within high-voltage electrical or overhead transmission lines.
” Proven experience with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts in a similar role.
” Professional qualifications in project management or a related field.
