Job Description
We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 1-2 years post graduate experience to join a busy Construction Consultancy.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery within budget and on schedule. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will also be responsible for accurately estimating costs, managing budgets, and providing cost control advice throughout the project lifecycle.
The key projects include a national rollout of a restaurant chain, a hotel, industrial warehouse and commercial offices.
Responsibilities:
- Implement effective cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring compliance with approved budgets.
- Identify and analyse potential cost risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Review and evaluate contractor payment applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
- Assist in the negotiation and settlement of final accounts with contractors and clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Familiarity with construction contracts, procurement processes, and relevant regulations.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
