A newly established consultancy who specialise in traffic and transport infrastructure are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join their team and deliver large and complex commissions within the infrastructure sector.
They are niche project and programme management consultancy with an extremely diverse project portfolio, a reputable international presence and opportunities to make your mark!
What you will do:
” Programming of works and resource management
” Managing project risk
” Client liaison and stakeholder management
” Managing the Project Team
” Project reviews
” Chairing project progress meetings with project teams
” Project change control management
” Developing and growing customer relationships, whilst identifying new business development opportunities.
” Supporting Senior Staff in delivering business objectives
” Opportunity to assist with business development, including contributing to bid writing
What you will need:
” Experience of working in the infrastructure sector
” Proven ability to deliver to deadlines
” The ability to work collaboratively with clients to deliver results
” The ability to prepare and implement a range of project tools including Programmes, Risk Registers, Stakeholder Management Plans, Project Execution Plans, Quality Assurance Plans
” Strong communication skills both oral and written, including the ability to manage meetings with a variety of stakeholders of varying seniority
” A collaborative approach including managing large technical teams and working closely with multi-stakeholder client teams
” Strong understanding of NEC 3/4 Contracts
” The ability to meet client security clearance requirements
” Preferably (but not essential) hold APM qualifications (PFQ and PMQ) or equivalent and be working towards becoming a Chartered Project Professional.
” Ideally be NEC3/4 accredited
